We are ShopUp, funded by Sequoia Capital and Omidyar Network. ShopUp is a super platform for micro entrepreneurs. We have more than 300k micro-merchants. We help our merchants through financing, advertising, and product sourcing. ShopUp is changing how finance and commerce work in emerging markets like Bangladesh.ShopUp has already developed an online store management solution called "ShopUp" which helps its clients sell more and sell easily. Recently the company started a new service called eLoan which caters to the various needs of the merchants starting from stocking products to enlarging the size of the business.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly operational analysis as it relates to volume, efficiencies, cycle time, quality, and service
- Report on operational metrics, conduct data and business analysis, and present summary of findings to CEX management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format
- Create and maintain daily operational scorecards to track and report on KPIs; assist in volume forecast and capacity planning as needed with the HOD
- Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS).
- Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner
- Help develop MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance
- Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency
- Perform data analysis, data mining for generating reports on periodic basis
- Develop MIS system for CEX management and internal communication
- Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team
- Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues.
- Establish a strong relationship with Team Managers and management through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the business issues at hand
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Maintain thorough understanding of data and information resources
Special Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in the BPO industry preferred with excellent MS Excel proficiency (MS SQL is a plus)
- Strong ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Sound decision-making ability
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate with people of various technical and business backgrounds
Employment Status: Full-time
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (candidates with Extensive experience may be given preference if educational qualification is not met)
