Job Title: Learning & Development Associate

Function: People & Culture

Reporting to:  Head of Learning & Development and Compliance

Job Location: HQ, Dhaka

POSITION PURPOSE:

To contribute in the overall planning and execution processes of entire Learning & Development initiatives in line with organizational vision and strategies ensuring full compliance of policies & procedures in order to support developing human capital necessary for achieving organizational strategic and business objectives.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Development of Policy & Procedure:
  • Assist in drafting the framework and policies in the area of learning & development processes in the line with JTI corporate vision to support establishing a learning culture throughout the organization.
• Plan & Budget:
  • Develop appropriate approach and conduct TNA
  • Consolidate and analyze training needs and assist to develop specific training programs
  • Prepare the training budget
  • Draft the training catalog
  • Draft the annual training calendar
• Develop Training Rollout Plan:
  • Identify potential training vendors in line with organizational training need
  • Explore the opportunity of partnership with renowned institute like Franklin Covey, IIM etc.
  • Identify and suggest cost effective solution/alternatives without compromising the quality of the training
• Support in Talent Management Process:
  • Assist in developing & Implementing structured Talent Management Program
  • Assist drafting Management & Leadership development curriculum
  • Assist in developing and implementing Field Sales Leadership Development Curriculum
• Support in Performance Management:
  • Prepare and update the cascading modules of JTI Performance management process
  • Assist in educating employees on JTI ways of performance management
• Explore Alternative Learning Solution:
  • Explore the visibility of e-learning solution etc. and suggest the way forward
  • Assist in developing structured plan of job rotation and on-the-job exposure in line with individual career plan 
  • Assist in developing the tools of analyzing the effectiveness and suggest the way forward
• Internal Compliance:
  • Ensure all Learning and Development activities are executed in line with JTI People & Culture policies and procedures and applicable national & local legislations (if any)

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

• Knowledge and understanding on the principles of learning & development methods
• Understanding on conducting Training Need Assessment (TNA)
• Training administration skill
• Basic understanding on training management skill
• Able to develop the content of training session and deliver short training program

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Good Communication skills in English (both written & verbal)
• Advanced level skills in MS Office especially in Excel & PowerPoint.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• BBA or MBA with Major in HRM, or Master’s degree from any reputed university
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Learning & Development
